She is survived by: her father George Creig Bowling (Linda) of Angier; her husband William JoAnthony Hartness; her son Xavier Hartness; her siblings, Jason James of Dunn, Jessica Ann James of Wade and Charlene Workman of Asheville; her parents-in-law, John D. and Omie D. Hartness of Dunn; and her brother-in-law John D. Hartness, II (Virginia) of Danville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
