He was predeceased by: his parents, Melbourn David Manning Sr. and Mildred Raynor Manning of Benson; and his sisters, Larue Manning, Betty Lou Wood and Shirley Barbour.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Capps Manning; his children, Melbourne David Manning III (Cher) and April Moore Taylor (Sidney Wayne Taylor); his sisters, Sue Pierce and Ammie Rose Barbour; his mother-in-law Irene Raynor; his sister-in-law Marilyn Beasley; and his grandchildren, Ashtin, Callie, Kenneth, Josie, Jacob, Hannah, Seana, Jared, Jennifer, Jack, Brook, Skye, Willow and Ransome. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
