She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy D. Godwin and Trudy S. Godwin; her husband Johnnie Gautier; her siblings, Billy Godwin, Darlene Coats and Ruby Donnelly; and her son-in-law David Lawrence.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie W. Lawrence of Willow Springs and Tammy Johnson (Tim) of Dunn; her granddaughter Crystal Dorsey (Gregg); her pet Willow Rose; her siblings, Jesse Godwin (Gaynell) of Buies Creek, Johnny Ray Godwin (Pat) of Dunn and Judy G. Robinson (Johnny) of Dunn; her siblings-in-law, Jim Donnelly and Shelby Godwin of Benson; and her daughter Karen Lee Strickland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
