We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2023, at the age of 78, Dixie Carolyn Strickland of Dunn, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Wilkins and Lela Wilkins; and her husband Harold Strickland. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Strickland (Tina) of Erwin, Ben Strickland (Lynn) of Pikeville and Harold Strickland, Jr. (Tammy) of Dunn; and her sister Doris Callahan of Raleigh. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
