He was predeceased by: his father Junious A. Allen. He is survived by: his wife Ann B. Allen; his daughter Paula A. Bradshaw (Charles) of Dunn; his siblings, James Allen of Dunn and Caroline Allen of Four Oaks; his grandchildren, Abby and Joshuah Bradshaw; and his great grandchild Aiden Bradshaw. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
