She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Norris and Sarah Smith Norris; her husband Charlie Earl Ivey; her children, William Robert Surles, Bobby Earl Ivey and Lula Mae Palma; her siblings, James Norris, Mary Pearl Johnson, Gertrude Bailey and Maude Ellen Norris; her grandson William Connor "Bud" Jones; and her great grandchild Lucas Peregoy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mable Hyler of Dunn, Jean Lucas (Wilbert) of Dunn and Laura Jane Sills of Dunn; and her grandchildren, Louise Hall, Billy Surles, JoAnn Makey, Shelia Powell, Debra Tovar, Linda Powell, Jean Elizabeth "Liz" Whitley, Nancy Peregoy, Jennifer Byrd, Melissa Tyndall, Laura Stanley, Brian Sills, Nathan Sills, Jason Ivey, Jamie Ivey and Justin Ivey. She is also survived by thirty-three great-grandchildren; twenty great-great-grandchildren; one great- great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
