With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Newton Goins of Drexel, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Edison Newton and Sarah Louise Cooke Newton; her son Bobby Lee Goins; and her brother David Newton. She is survived by: her husband Robert Christopher "Colombo" Goins Sr.; her sons, Robert Christopher Goins Jr. and Jeffrey Duane Buchanan; her grandson Jeffrey Storm Buchanan; and her siblings, Joe Newton, Bryan Newton, Lisa Payne and Dianna Hudson.
