It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Leo Maynard of Denver, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Maynard and Daisy Stillwell Maynard; and his brothers, Teddy Elmore, Bobby Jack, John Ralph and Alfred Franklin Maynard.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Ragan Maynard; his sons, Mark Maynard of Maiden, Kurt Maynard of Lincolnton and Douglas Middleswarth (Amber) of Denver; his granddaughters, Allie and Lylah Middleswarth of Denver; and his brother James Douglas Maynard of Todd, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
