It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Sumner of Denver, North Carolina, born in Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Lutz and Grace Lutz; and her husband John E. Sumner. She is survived by: her sons, Dale (Donna) of Denver and Alan (Tanya) of Catawba; her grandchildren, Garrett, Haley, Candy and Courtney; and her great grandchildren, Charlee Rose and Warner.
