He is survived by: his wife Karen Barnes Rogers; his children, Stacey Shaf (Bernard), Jackie Dearing and Chris Rogers; his sister Rita Kiter (Ed); his grandchildren, Nick Semanko, Noah Semanko, Benjamin Shaf, Mia Springer-Dearing and Brett Dearing; his nephew Matt Kiter; his niece Tracy Rogers; and his child Doug Mayes Place of Charlotte, NC.
