She was predeceased by: her parents, George Grice and Mary Benton Grice; her husband James S. Murphy; her granddaughter Brittany Murphy; and her siblings, Elliot Grice of Eric Grice, J. A., Quinn, James Grice, John Grice, Floyd Grice, Mrytle White and Catherine Arrowood.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Stuart Koone (Jerry), John W. (Bill) and Thomas S. Murphy (Kim); her grandchildren, Carla Bollinger, Kimberly Koone, Erika Waters, James T. Murphy, Jonathan Murphy, Ryan Murphy and Chloe Stover; her great grandchildren, Tyler Elmore and Ridge Waters; her sister Sally G. Wooten; and her siblings-in-law, Ted Murphy (Peggy), B. G. Arrowood, Luther Murphy (Rhonda), Judy Outlaw (Bernard), Martha Murphy and Wanda Murphy.
