It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathleen O'Brien Merdick (Denver, North Carolina), born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 14, 2019, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Blenis and Bettie Smith Blenis; her son Steven Poole; and her brother Kelly Blenis. She is survived by: her husband Kurt Merdick; her siblings-in-law, Brian Merdich and Lee Merdich; and her pets, Kelly and Layla.

Memorial Donations may be made to Lincoln County Hospice or the Humane society.
