He was predeceased by: his former wives, Betty Taylor Maney and Bobbie Jo Wehunt Maney; his children, Gary Dale Maney and Karen Cheryl Maney; and his sisters, Opal Maney Mashborn and Lottie Maney Spivey.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Arden Maney Darnell, Jordan Maney, Joey Buckner, Danielle Williams, Brittney Curtis, Ponzie Black, Michelle Marullo Peeler, Justin Black and Tiffany Black; and his great grandchildren, Savannah, Payton, Abigail and Lawrence.
Interment will follow at LongCreek Baptist Church, Dallas N.C. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to 8th Street Church of God, Bessemer City, NC.
