It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Burton Sorrells (Dallas, North Carolina), born in Easley, South Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ollie Brooks Burton; and her grandson Houston Patterson. She is survived by: her husband William "Bud" Sorrells; her children, Ricky Patterson (Joyce), Mike Patterson (Lynn) and Pam Patterson; her stepson Lyn Sorrells (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Amber Hampton (Ashley), Paige Denton (Steven), Nathan Patterson (Magaly) and Eli Patterson; and her great grandchildren, Jake Denton, Christian Denton and Kadence Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 301 West Main Street, Dallas, NC 28034.
