It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred T. Fraley of Dallas, North Carolina, born in Habersham, Georgia, who passed away on June 10, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Thomas and Ida Thomas; her brother Dewey Thomas; her grandson Eugene Jr.; and her husbands, Paul Stilwell and Lewis Fraley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Whiting of Dallas, NC and Nancy Tyner of Knoxville, TN; her siblings, J. D. Thomas (Gin) of Granby, CT, Margie Helton of York, SC, Sarah Walker (Bill) of Earl, NC, Brenda Crawford (Larry) of Stanley, NC and Mae Whitted (Buck) of Stanley, NC; and her grandchildren, Crystal Ramsey of Gastonia, NC, Tammy Jones (Mike) of Forest City, NC, Gerard Ramsey (Ginger) of Lincolnton, NC, Cindy (Jeff) of Knoxville, TN and Juwan Tyner of Gastonia, NC. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great- grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
