She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul J. Sr. Kirksey and Mattie Teague Kirksey; and her grandchildren, Jessica Duncan and CJ Setola. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Setola, Jodie Pearson and Chris Pearson; her grandchildren, Storm Setola, Hailey Motes (Jacob), Stone Michael, Brianna Setola and Jasper Pearson; her great grandchild Mattie Motes; and her brothers, Sydney Kirksey, Paul "Jacky" Kirksey (Ruby) and Ricky Kirksey (Susan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
