It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Davis Jones (Dallas, North Carolina), who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her children, Marla Jones Ivester (Chris) and Mark Davis Jones; and her stepgrandchildren, Daniel Ivester, Caroline Ivester and Brayden Ivester. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and friends of her children.
To honor her memory, the family suggests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the Kidney Foundation, or Gastonia Street Ministry in lieu of flowers.
