She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cobb and Bertha Cobb Harris; her husband Kenneth Beer; and her siblings, Carol Cameron, Sara Cobb, Eddie Cobb and Buddy Cobb.

She is survived by: her son Michael E. Beer (Lauren); her grandsons, Asher, Ben and Jack; her daughter Jessie Johnson (L. J.); and her sisters, Betty Rogers (Jack), Dottie Houser (Teddy) and Janette Barbara. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to Lowell Church of God in Lowell, North Carolina.
