He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray M. Hurlocker and Brown Flowe Hurlocker; his wife Angela Hurlocker; his brother Howard (Jennifer); his niece Amy Simpson (Gary); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Justus and Abbigail; his niece Ashley Atwell (Jason); his great-nephew Blaine; his nephew Zachary Hurlocker (Amy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shelby Grace and Sadie Hope; his pets, Gabe, Bo, Sage, Pringle, Murphy, Barney, Chloe and Church Rd; his close friends, Gaston and Larry; and also, Georgia and Dr. Derek Reed.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made in his honor to Gaston County Humane Society in remembrance of his previous beloved canine companions: Gabe, Bo and Sage, Pringle & Murphy, Barney and Chloe or to St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 St. John's Church Rd., Concord, NC 28025.
