He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Thomas and Dora Mae Thomas; and his brothers, Arthur, Emmett and Bobby Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Melton (Allen) and Ross Thomas (Lori); his grandchildren, Wyatt Melton (Alice), Kyle Melton, Cecily Melton and Ivey Thomas; his great grandchildren, Tanner and Sutton Melton; and his siblings, JD, Sheila, Shirley, Dougie and Linda.
