It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernest Paysour of Dallas, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lester Paysour and Alice Stockton; and his brother Frank Reid Paysour. He is survived by: his children, Steven Paysour, David Paysour, Kellie Keough (Mike) and Sherry Paysour; and his siblings, James Paysour (Nina), Larry Paysour, Cornelius Paysour (Dot), Doris Head, Frances Burtrum (Mike), Darlene Pruett (Merle) and Barbara Oates (Henry). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
