It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Sue Lineberger Smith (Dallas, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Lineberger and Addie Marie Thornburg Lineberger; her husband Gene Smith; her grandson Micah Smith; and her siblings, Joe Bill Lineberger (R. E. "Buck" Lineberger) and Virginia Welch.
She is survived by: her children, Kent Smith (Kathy), Mark Smith (Wanda) and Tracey Busha (Kenny); her grandchildren, Sara Glenn (Danny), Dawn Blackmon, Garin Neese (Morgan Queen), Brittany Sanders (Michael) and Jonathan McCready (Kasey); and her sister Cloteen Rogers. She is also survived by Eleven great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
