He was predeceased by: his father Worth Rash; and his brother Otis Rash. He is survived by: his mother Reba Testerman Rash of Jefferson; his wife Helen Johnson Rash; his sons, Kevin Rash of Creston and Brandon Rash (Tatiane) of Charlotte; and his siblings, Dwight Rash of Jefferson, Charlotte Phillips of West Jefferson, Ardna Rash of Boone, Lois Main (Glen) of Todd and Sandy Baker (Todd) of Greenville, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
