She was predeceased by: her parents, Nobe Desmond Medlin and Edna Winstead Medlin; and her husband Dueward Rivers Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Edwards, Edna Atwater, Dueward "Dewey" Edwards Jr. and Betsy Faucette (Jeff); her grandchildren, James Atwater (Travis), Christin Apple, Whitney Edwards, Coltyn Faucette, Collin Faucette and Conner Faucette; and her sister Barbara Medlin Raynor (Stuart) of Raleigh.
