It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Salone Smith Ford (Como, North Carolina), who passed away on July 27, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Smith and Lillie Hargrove Smith. She is survived by: her children, Mary Eason (Henry Cherry) of Ahoskie, NC and James Ford, Sr. of Como, NC; and her sister Hattie Stephenson of Suffolk, VA. She is also survived by grandchildren; (1) great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
