It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Richard Shook (Claremont, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivey Lee "Roy" Shook and Verdie "Edna" Hedrick Shook; and his siblings, Bo Shook, Harvey Shook, Johnny Shook, Mary Moss and Edith "Jeet" Bandy.
He is survived by: his son Steve Johnson; his brothers, Everett "Ham" Shook (Marilyn) of Claremont and Garland Shook of Claremont; his sisters-in-law, Helen Shook of Claremont and Ruby Shook of Claremont; his grandson Kristopher Johnson (Bethany); and his great grandchild Colton Johnson. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
