He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Bowman Reid; his significant other Jane Burch Reid of Hickory; his sons, Darrin Reid (Joni) of Claremont and Wesley Reid (Jennifer) of Hickory; his grandchildren, John Christian Reid of Claremont, Ryen Reid of Claremont, Jon Brann Reid of Claremont, Lauren Sydney Reid and Kate Addison Reid; his siblings, George Reid of Houston, TX, Joan Reid Propst (Edwin) of Hickory and Libby Reid Keenan of Houston, TX; his aunt Peggy Jo Hefner of Dalton, GA; and also Garfield.
