With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Daniel Brown of Claremont, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on March 29, 2021 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Daniel Brown to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cosam Brown and Lillie Catherine Carpenter Brown; his wife Pearl Deal Brown; his granddaughters, Marla and Carla Brown; and his siblings, George, Floyd, Clyde, Coyte, Frank Brown, Mary Sigmon, Myrtle Bolick, Maurene Reed, Nell Cline and Dot Little.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Randall Brown (Jill) of Claremont, Kevin Leslie Brown (Suzanne) of Raleigh and Donna B. Brown (Ronny) of Catawba; his grandchildren, Shawn R. Brown, Mayor, Patrick S. Brown (Brittany) of Claremont, Emily B. Lacroix (Chris) of Richmond, VA, Leah C. Brown of Conover, Andy D. Brown of New York, NY, Colleen M. Brown of Raleigh and Ian T. Brown of Raleigh; and his great grandchildren, Jackson R. Brown, Matthew Early, Jacob Early, Vivian Lacroix, Kendall Hayes, Cole Hayes, Sky Hayes and Peyton Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Plans for a Celebration of Life service will be made at a later date due to current COVID restrictions.
