She is survived by: her parents, Donald Lyerly and Mellisa Barber Lyerly; her great-grandparents, Mildred Barber, Rose Lyerly and Walter Lyerly; her aunt Mary Lyerly (Pop); her fiancé Edward Fortune, Jr.; her nephews, Deqavius Rex Lyerly, Shavar Amari Niles and Jaaziah Jarrel Niles; her siblings, Kathy Williams (Lamont) of Shelby, Stephanie Keaton (Daniel) and Cameron Thomas of Taylorsville; her grandmother Mildred Lyerly of Claremont; her aunts and uncles, David (Rosemary Poole), Annette (Zachary Frazier), John Barber (Mary Lyerly) and Glenn Barber of Newton; her godparents, Melissa Smith of Statesville and Gary Barber of Newton; and her cousins, Zanaya Thompson of Hickory, Aytal Barber of Newton, Jermichael Watts of Claremont and Lamont Lyerly of Claremont.
