With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Lee Murray of Claremont, North Carolina, born in Newton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 28, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Vernon Asbury Lee; and her husband Jack Oley Murray. She is survived by: her son Scottie; her daughter-in-law Sandra Murray; her daughter Patty James; her grandchildren, Traci McCombs, Louis James II, Clay Howard and Bethany Howard; her great grandchildren, Madison Kanupp of Casey Kanupp, A. J, McCombs, Carter Howard and Carson Howard; and her sister Linda Setzer.
