He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Alton Baggett and Johnnie Scofield Baggett. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Taylor Baggett; his children, Alton Ronald Baggett, II of Leland, NC, David Christopher Baggett of Wilmington, NC., Joan Baggett Hamilton of Cedar Point, NC and Helen Baggett Freeman (Michael) of Wilmington, NC; his sister Claudette Baggett King of Wendell, NC; and his grandchildren, Tyler Lee Hamilton, Matthew David Freeman, Reid Andrew Freeman and Taylor Hamilton Higgins.
