He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Edwards and Minnie Ruth Vanderburg; his wife Dorothy Wagoner Edwards; his sister Barbara Morgan; and his grandson William Shaun Stiller.

He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Stiller of Salisbury. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
