Yates McGinnis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yates McGinnis (Cherryville, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin S. McGinnis and Mae Bivens McGinnis; and his brother Billy Wayne McGinnis. He is survived by: his sons, Todd McGinnis (Cathy) of Marshville and Doug McGinnis (Nancy) of Statesville; his sister Corinne Mauney of Cherryville; his nieces, Joan Fowler (Louie) of Cherryville and Trina McGinnis of Wake Forest; and his adoptive son Kevin Parker of Cherryville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
