She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Belmont "Buddy" and Margaret Josephine Meginley Bland; her husband Charles Augustus Helms; her son-in-law Ricky Brickhouse; her granddaughter Brandi Leigh Parsons; her brother Raymond Belmont Bland, Jr.; her nephew Kip Evans; and her niece Barbie Evans Wuest.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Marie Alton (Steve), Alecia Brickhouse and Teresa Parsons; her sister Dorothy Fay Bonney; her grandchildren, Michael Bauer (Beth), Casey Stout (Grayson), Stephen Alton (Gabie), Cody Alton (Brianna), Kalani Brickhouse and Courtney Grew (Dennis); and her great grandchildren, Caden, Miles, Luke, Justin, Hayden, Mackenzie, Kaili, James, Everleigh, Emorie, Erilyn, Ellison, Aurora, Nathan, Jack, Judah and Benny.
