He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenard Allen Philbeck and Vera Ethel Hoyle Philbeck; and his sister Ruby Dula. He is survived by: his wife Crystal Darlene Philbeck; his children, David Philbeck (Coneia) of Nathalie, Virginia, Rebecca Faile (Terry) of Maggie Valley, Chrissy Grantland (Ray) of Cherryville and Katrina Farmer (Kevin) of Cherryville; and his siblings, John Henry Philbeck of Oak Island, Cora Norman of Stanley and Christine Turner of Stanley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
