It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Junior Foster of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Franklin; his wife Kathryn McSwain Foster; his son Alan Foster; his sister Joyce Mann; and his son-in-law Dale Hoyle.
He is survived by: his daughters, Loretta Hoyle of Cherryville, Charlotte Fleenor (Joe) of Denver and Patience Huffman (Timothy) of Blacksburg; his daughter-in-law Teresa Foster; his sisters, Margaret Patterson, Sue Cochran, Faye Robinson, Shirley McSwain and Deborah Duetsch; his granddaughters, Chelsy Hoyle, Mindy Foster, Delana Ferguson (Alex), Makenzie Huffman and Cheyenne Huffman; and his great grandchildren, Ethan and Ansley Ferguson.
Mr. Foster requested that memorials may be made the Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery fund, 112 Mt Zion Church Rd, Cherryville, NC 28021.
