She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McElveen and Bessie Capel McElveen; her husband Joseph Poston; and her brothers, Junior McElveen and Johnny McElveen.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Poston of Cherryville, Lewis Poston (Ellen) of Belwood, Jimmy Poston (Terry) of Crouse, Michael Poston (Carolyn) of Casar and Felisha Dellinger (Mike) of Sumter, SC; and her brother Ray McElveen. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a handful of very special friends.
