It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Green (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Green and Louise Williams Green; and his brothers, Martin Edward Green and Wayne Green. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Wilkie Green; his children, Jeffery Marvin Green of Shelby, Cindy Green Rogers (Martin) of Mt. Ulla, NC and Debra Green Brittain (Roger) of Lawndale; his grandsons, Jacob Brittain (Holly) of Shelby and Eli Brittain (Madison) of Raleigh; and his siblings, Betty Sue Haynes of Lincolnton, Evelyn Ballard (Dennis) of Lincolnton, Ellen Jones (Randy) of Lincolnton, James Green (Lucille) of Lawndale, Hugh Green (Ruth) of Lawndale and Hal Green of Lawndale.
