It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Matthews (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton White and Hazel White; her siblings, Pat, Mildred and Forrest; and her nephew Clayton Richard.
She is survived by: her former husband Larry Matthews; her son Keith; her daughter-in-law Karen Matthews; her grandson Justin (Haley Matthews); her siblings, Betty Jo Richard, Leonard White, Warren White, Larry White, Doug White and Judy White; and also Harley White (Sarah).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice House of Shelby are encouraged.
