It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Boone Lee (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dallas Boone and Lula Elizabeth Ball Boone; her husband Larry Donald Lee; the father of her children Jimmy Edward Heffner, Sr.; and her son Jimmy Heffner, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Heffner of Gastonia, Ken Heffner (Debbie), Donnie Heffner, Mark Heffner (Donna), Keith Heffner (Leslie) and Randy Heffner (Tammy); her sister Mildred Dudley of Adrian, GA; and her grandchildren, Blue Presley, Gray Presley, Tori Lee, Jimmy Wayne Heffner, Timmy Heffner, Sommer Heffner, Ashley Cooke, Tia Scruggs, Whitney Powers and Colby Heffner. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
