We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2022, at the age of 82, James Larry Bridges of Cherryville, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harry Bridges and Annie Wilson Bridges; his siblings, Mary Fraley, Dean Bridges and Jerry Bridges; and his grandson Scottie Bridges.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Bess Bridges; his children, James Larry Bridges, Jr. (Chris), Mary Ann Bridges, Jeff Bridges (Sarah) and Catherine Michelle Taylor; his stepdaughters, Tina Louise Witherspoon, Susan Annyce Hamilton and Lisa Marie Helms; and his sisters, Doris Mitchem (Leroy), Libby Wilson and Jane Emory.

Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
