He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence D. Brackett, Sr. and Mattie Mosteller Brackett; his son Eddie Warren Brackett of Cherryville; and his siblings, Lee Brackett, Carl Brackett, Lonnie Brackett, C. D. Brackett, Lona Brackett, Ethel Brackett, Pauline Unverzagt, Geneva Colvard, Rebecca Osborne, Eva Hoyle, Evelyn Smith and Virginia Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Corene Davis Brackett; his children, Tommy Brackett (Wanda) of Easley, SC, Mari Simpson (Rick) of Vale and Sheri Boyles (Doyle) of Vale; and his brother Fred Brackett (Nancy) of Lancaster, SC. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
