He was predeceased by: his parents, Deward W. Parker and Verna Lee Ingram Parker; his daughter Debbie Parker; and his siblings, Wanda Parker Baucom and Johnny Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Glinda Leatherman Parker; his stepchildren, Melissa Thompson of Shelby and Michael Maiwald (Rebecca) of Dallas; his grandchildren, Cameron Maiwald, Tyler Maiwald, Amber Maiwald (John Lawing), Dalton Hively (Amanda), Kaitlyn Hively and Kylie Reynolds; and his great grandchildren, Derik, Gavin, Emma, Danny and Nevaeh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
