He was predeceased by: his father Garland Odell; his wife Dianne Robinson Brown; his grandson Justin Wright; and his siblings, Ted Brown and Vickie Randall.
He is survived by: his children, Curt Brown (Jean) and Lynn Ward; his grandchildren, Jeremy Wright, Courtney Brown and Bailey Lail; his great grandchildren, Kameron Wright and Nevaeh Wright; his siblings, Mary Sue Schultz, Lucy Hartman (Steve), Rita Wilson (Ken), Mickey Brown (Linda) and Randy Brown (Vickie); his siblings-in-law, Dottie Brown, Kay Moss, Charles Schultz, Roger Randall, Mike Robinson (Wanda) and Tony Robinson (Brenda); and his pet Tiger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
