She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Williams and Erie Barnette Williams; her husband Charles Junior Spurling; her son Ronnie Spurling (Shelia); and her siblings, Leon Williams, Gene Williams, Naomi Jones, Linda Morrison, Rose Grantt and Ellie Goins.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Spurling (Vickie) of Shelby, Randy Spurling (Debra) of Shelby, Jeffery Spurling of Shelby, Steve Spurling of Shelby and Wanda Spurling of Boiling Springs, NC; and her grandchildren, Brian Spurling, Kiley Shoup (Aaron), Chad Spurling (Araine), Julie Spurling, Leslie Duncan (Todd), Rodney Spurling, Anthony Spurling, Andy Spurling (Michelle), Travis Spurling (Krystal), Tim Davis (Samantha), Paige Swafford (Josh), Sabrina "Tristen" Spurling and Jacob Spurling. She is also survived by twenty eight great grandchildren.
