He was predeceased by: his parent Herbert William Woodruff; and his brother Roy Woodruff. He is survived by: his parent Dare Townsend Woodruff; his wife LeNita Beam Woodruff; his daughter Kim Dixon (Sean) of Gastonia; his grandchildren, Amanda Dixon and Jennifer Dixon; and his siblings, David Woodruff of Maiden, Johnny Woodruff of Lincolnton, Cecil Woodruff of Florida and Virginia McCaslin of Lincolnton.
