She was predeceased by: her parents, Kane Saunooke and Margaret Smith Saunooke; her husband Robert Ross; and her sisters, Golinda Lambert, Lillian Franklin and Bell Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Katherine Medford Bradley, Vicki Ray Medford, Linda Gayle Medford and Ricky Lee Medford (Cheryl); and her brother Soloman Saunooke. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
