He is survived by: his parent Elsie Wolfe Rattler of Cherokee; his children, Brandon Burgess (Keredith) of Cherokee, Mitch Rattler (Erica) of Blowing Rock, NC, Tristin Rattler (Amanda) of Blowing Rock, NC and Kelsie Crowe of Cherokee; his brothers, Jackie of Cherokee, Jody of Cherokee, Timmy of Cherokee, Harold of Cherokee and Sammy (Kari Rattler) of Cherokee; his aunts, Laura Blankenship (Bob) and Lucille Wolfe; and his uncle Bill Wolfe of Cherokee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and several cousins.
