It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Timothy Beck of Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Beck and Sarah Sneed Beck; his wife Janet Long Beck; his son James T. Beck Jr.; his granddaughters, Stephanie Beck and Deanna Beck; and his siblings, Samuel Beck, Quinten Beck, Paul Beck and Wilma Lambert.

He is survived by: his children, Jack Allen Beck, Julie Beck Maney (Buffalo), Jeanne Beck, Jilinda Beck and Joey Beck; his pet Bo; his friends, Vice Chief, B. Ensley and David Wolfe; and his nephew Bill Beck. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
