She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Candice Driver (Lopper) of Cherokee, NC. and Lisa Ledford (Allen) of Cherokee, NC.; her grandchildren, Kieran Sequoyah, Dorian Martens (Kaniah Jackson), Mya Sequoyah, Drallen "Boon" Ledford, Wilbur Sequoyah, Lula Sequoyah and Julyssa "Juicy" Sequoyah; her great grandchild Onyx Martens; her sisters, Cindi Ayers (Paul), Reva Sequoyah and Sammi Sequoyah; her brother-in-law Randy Lossiah; her husband Ronald Mathis; her parents, Wilbur Sequoyah and Lula Sequoyah; her siblings, Lewis, Beaver, Charlie Sequoyah, Sharon Moore and Carol Standingdeer; and her niece Kori Penland. She was also cherished by Several Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
